We stand behind the quality of Copilot Assistant. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee.
2. Eligible Refund Reasons
You are eligible for a full refund if:
- Technical Issues: The Extension has a critical bug that prevents it from functioning as described, and we cannot resolve it within a reasonable timeframe
- License Delivery Failure: You did not receive your license key via email and we cannot recover it
- Feature Misrepresentation: The Extension does not provide features clearly advertised on our website or marketplace listing
- Compatibility Issues: The Extension is incompatible with your system despite meeting stated requirements (Windows/Mac/Linux with VS Code)
- Duplicate Purchase: You accidentally purchased multiple licenses
3. Refund Timeframe
To be eligible for a refund, you must request it within 30 days of your purchase date.
After 30 days, all sales are final. We encourage you to:
- Use the 7-day free trial before purchasing to ensure the Extension meets your needs
- Contact support immediately if you encounter issues
- Test the Extension within the refund window

- ❌ Refund requested after successfully using the Extension for an extended period
Important: We offer a 7-day unlimited free trial specifically so you can test all features before committing to a purchase. Please use this trial period to ensure the Extension meets your requirements.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:

- Include in your email:
- Your license key (found in your purchase confirmation email)
- Purchase date (or approximate date)
- Email address used for purchase
- Detailed reason for refund request
- Steps you've taken to resolve the issue (if applicable)
- We will respond within 48 hours to review your request
- If approved, refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
6. Refund Processing
Once your refund is approved:
- Processing Time: 5-10 business days to appear in your account
- Refund Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method (credit card via Stripe)
- License Deactivation: Your license will be immediately deactivated upon refund approval
- Confirmation Email: You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed

9. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your credit card company:
- Your license will be immediately deactivated
- We will provide evidence of service delivery (license key email, activation logs) to your bank
- Chargebacks initiated without contacting us first may result in denial of future purchases
Please contact us first - we're happy to resolve issues directly and process refunds faster than chargeback disputes.
10. License Recovery (Not a Refund)
If you lost your license key but don't want a refund:
- Email support@copilot-assistant.net with your purchase email
- We will resend your license key at no charge
- This is not considered a refund request
11. No-Questions-Asked Period
For the first 7 days after purchase, we offer a streamlined refund process:
- No detailed explanation required (though appreciated)
- Faster processing (typically within 24-48 hours)
- Automatic approval unless fraud is suspected
